Michael J.R. Whitehead

As President and CEO, Michael has been responsible for The Long Reach Corporation's strategic plans and the development of strategic alliances and business partnerships.

Michael has over 25 years experience working in the information technology industry. For most of his career, he has been actively involved in all aspects of commercializing information technology: product development, management of hardware and software development teams, product management, management of software services organizations, and general management at the executive level.

A veteran CRM expert and experienced author, Michael authored the first book written about SugarCRM -
Implementing SugarCRM: A Practical Guide for Small Businesses.
This book was published in March 2006 by Packt Publishing.

Michael has extensive R&D and Marketing experience working in senior management capacities at Commodore UK, Bristol Software, Gandalf Data, Northern Micro, Cemtech, MASK Systems, Rebel.com, Zim Technologies, ONCE Corporation and Bell Security Solutions Inc. (BSSI).
