On Premise Option (Use info@hand on your own server):

For those organizations that wish to run info@hand on their own server (using the Linux, Windows Server, or Mac OS X operating systems), we offer our On Premise licensing option. (If you want to use info@hand as an On Demand service instead, go here.) The On Premise option has a one-time per-user license fee of 185.00 Euros (approx. $285.00 US at present), with a 2 user minimum. This price includes the following products which are part of the overall info@hand system:

On Premise Support:

Support for the On Premise licensing option (via email & fax 24/7 08:00-18:00 EST, business days, plus Customer Portal support for Bug and Case submission, and access to the customer forums and FAQs) includes free point and full updates for info@hand while under support. The cost for support is an additional 50.00 Euros (approx. $77.00 US at present) per user annually, and is mandatory in the first year. Support includes one support incident per licensed user - additional incidents will be charged at 50.00 Euros each. Fixes for identified issues will be developed at our discretion and distributed via periodic patch releases.

 

On Premise Pricing Example:

A 5-user On Premise license, including the one-time license fee, and support for the first year, has a cost of 5 x (185.00 + 50.00) = 1,175.00 (all prices in Euros, or approx. $1,810.00 US at present). In the second year you can just keep using the software and pay nothing, or renew support, keep getting free upgrades, and pay just 5 x 50.00 Euros (250.00 Euros, or approx. $385.00 US). Unlike many of our competitors, there is no license fee to pay in the second year, or indeed ever again.

 

How to Purchase the info@hand On Premise Option:

To start the process, email or call us to ask for a quote. Your quote will show details for a variety of different payment options. To complete the purchase of the info@hand On Premise option, the Software License Agreement must be downloaded, completed, and faxed to The Long Reach Corporation at 613-692-7818.  Payment options include PayPal, Wire Transfer, or company cheque - please call or email to arrange payment. We can invoice you in Euros, US dollars or Canadian dollars. When payment has been received you will receive a download link for your server installation Zip file, the Outlook plug-in, info@hand Mobile, the info@hand Customer Portal, and documentation for installing and using all of these parts of the solution.

info@hand Finance License & Support:

Sold separately, the optional info@hand Finance for QuickBooks module links an info@hand installation to the QuickBooks Accounting system. For On Premise deployment, pricing is 750.00 Euros (approx. $1,150.00 US at present) per server one-time license fee, plus 200.00 Euros (approx. $300.00 US at present) per annum for support.

info@hand Customer Portal & eStore Support:

Although the software and license for the info@hand Customer Portal & eStore are included free with every info@hand On Premise license, not all clients need to use this aspect of the system, and so support for it is priced separately. For On Premise deployment, the support fee is 375.00 Euros (approx. $575.00 US at present) per server per annum.

Admin Users :

Note that any user may be given the system administration capability. There is no dedicated administration user, nor is an additional free administration user provided with the On Premise option.

While there is no charge for Sugar Open Source, Joomla, or VirtueMart, pricing of this product in fact reflects the cost for that portion of the software which is proprietary to the info@hand solution suite, plus any included hardware, documentation, and customization, training and support services.
